A modern retreat surrounded by nature
Tucked into juniper-covered hills within a quiet rural neighborhood, this brand-new modern retreat is designed for travelers craving nature, stillness, and wide-open skies. The Juniper Hideaway invites you to slow down — whether that looks like enjoying the outdoor shower ( seasonal) sunrise coffee on the patio, a mindful walk through the walking labyrinth, or stargazing beside the fire.

The Juniper retreat was absolutely beautiful! We were a family of 4 (one 17 yo and one 9 yo) and it was the perfect size and setting for us. We stay in many airbnbs for our road trips and this is our absolute favorite house of all time. The instructions into the house were clear and accurate making the check in super easy. We arrived late at night on a very wintery evening and the route that CheyAnne and Chris provided indeed helped minimize the amount of bumpy trail we had to drive. In any case, the rest of the dirt roads were just fine and was actually really cool to see. The house is immaculate! We are very picky about cleanliness; this house was SPOTLESS. It has ALL the essentials (coffee pods, tea, pots and pans, extra towels, steamer, shampoo, conditioner, board games...). The hammock and swings outside were a huge hit in the picturesque setting. The interior design and decorating are right out of a magazine. I can't recommend highly enough!
Juniper Hideaway was the perfect place for my husband and I to enjoy some time together and do some exploring in the area. We were able to visit both Zion and Bryce Canyon National Park and it was really nice to have such a great space to come back to and relax after a long day of hiking. I appreciated all the attention to detail and we had everything we could need to make our stay absolutely comfortable. I would highly recommend booking this space for a couples getaway, and we will definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
Hands-down one of the best - if not THE best - Airbnb experiences I’ve had. This is what I think I always hope an Airbnb will be like. It was incredibly peaceful and was exactly as described. Our hosts were excellent. Highly recommended.
Peaceful and modern desert retreat ideal as a base to see Utah’s south western parks. The space is comfortable and private, and well stocked. The outside is as welcoming as the inside, encouraging guests to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The hosts are super nice and responsive, and have thought of all the details to make the Juniper Retreat a top notch escape for nature lovers.
Our group of 3 was driving home from a work trip in SoCal and we stopped to stay here on our way home. We didn’t get in until 2am but CheyAnne made it so easy for us to check in and was even able to accommodate a late checkout for us (for a very reasonable fee) so we could sleep in. The place itself is gorgeous, I’m sad we didn’t get to spend more time. Favorite part was the outdoor shower! Really nice and peaceful. Probably the cleanest AirBnb I’ve ever stayed in. Worth the drive a little off the beaten path for sure. Thanks CheyAnne, looking forward to next time!
Perfectly equipped, very modern and high-end condition. Everything felt brand new and on point. ACs, beds, kitchen, bathroom — everything working and feeling smoothly. High-end location. 12/10 would recommend. Host very communicative and welcoming! We definitely will visit again if we are around 😎🫶🏽
We really enjoyed our stay at Juniper Hideaway. The home was very clean and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen was well appointed and we made use of the outdoor grill. It is about a 10 minute drive to town and it was about an hour from Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. It was the perfect combination of great proximity and peacefulness. We would definitely stay again.
John and I had a wonderful first half of our honeymoon at the Juniper Hideaway. The surrounding area is breathtaking. Even though there are some other homes in the area, CheyAnne’s place feels very isolated in a good way.The Hideaway had everything we wanted and needed - including peace and quiet. Highly recommended!
CheyAnne and Chris created a beautiful modern escape in the Juniper trees outside of Cedar City. All the amenities were top notch. They put so much attention and intention into the space complete with a hammock, outdoor swings, fire pit, labyrinth, and outdoor shower. I was able to spend my three nights unplugged and connected to the beautiful surroundings. I left completely refreshed. Can’t wait to go back!
We had an amazing stay! Relaxing and everything we were looking for on our vacation to hike in Zion. Will absolutely be staying again to explore more!

Hi, we’re Chris and CheyAnne -the creators of The Juniper Haven. We built this space with the intention of offering peaceful, low-tox nightly retreats where guests can slow down, reconnect, and feel restored by nature.
We love exploring Southern Utah, sharing slow mornings, and creating environments that support clarity, calm, and simplicity. As stewards of this land, we honor the Nuwuvi (Southern Paiute) people who lived in deep relationship with this area long before us. Their reverence for the land guides the care we bring to everything we create here.
Whether you’re here for adventure or stillness, we hope your time at The Juniper Haven brings you grounding, spaciousness, and a deeper breath.
Thank you for being here-
With gratitude,
Chris & CheyAnne
