When you make a reservation through a third-party platform, that platform may independently collect and process your personal information under its own privacy policy and terms.

We do not control the privacy practices of third-party platforms.

If you book directly through our website, reservation and booking services may be provided through Lodgify and related service providers. Information submitted through a third-party booking or payment system may be subject to that provider’s privacy practices in addition to this Policy.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors.

We generally do not need to receive or retain your complete payment card number when payment is processed through a third-party payment provider. Payment information may be collected and processed directly by the applicable payment processor according to its own privacy policy and security practices.

We may retain transaction-related information necessary for accounting, refunds, customer service, tax, legal, and business-record purposes.

We may use analytics and advertising technologies to understand how visitors use our website and how our marketing performs.

These services may collect information such as browser information, device information, IP address, pages visited, referring websites, and interactions with advertisements or website content.

Some advertising technologies may use cookies or similar identifiers to provide advertising based on a user's activity across websites or services.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide applicable choices or opt-out mechanisms for certain targeted advertising or sharing activities.

We may offer SMS or text-message communications in the future for reservation-related, customer-service, operational, or promotional purposes.

If SMS communications are implemented, we will obtain consent where required by applicable law and provide appropriate instructions for opting out.

We will not condition a reservation or purchase on consent to receive promotional text messages where prohibited by law.

11. Property Security Cameras and Safety Devices

Certain properties may use exterior security cameras or other security devices for legitimate safety and property-protection purposes.

At Juniper Hideaway, there is an exterior camera located under the porch and directed toward the front entrance and parking area.

The camera is intended to support the safety and security of guests and owners and to help protect the property.

The camera is positioned so that it does not intentionally monitor private areas such as the outdoor shower, fire pit, labyrinth, or interior living spaces through windows.

We do not use cameras in bedrooms, bathrooms, or other private interior areas.

Information captured by security devices may be accessed or disclosed when reasonably necessary for safety, security, property protection, insurance, legal proceedings, or law-enforcement purposes.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal, accounting, insurance, or business-record requirements.

14. Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction.

However, no website, electronic transmission, storage system, or method of communication can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You understand that providing information electronically involves some inherent risk.
