CheyAnne’s place was absolutely amazing! While it’s a bit off the beaten path and involves a couple of dirt roads, don’t let that deter you—once I arrived in the quiet little community of homes, I was pleasantly surprised. The space is beautifully decorated, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen had pretty much every appliance I could think of (plus some fresh eggs and snacks!). There were also books to enjoy, which added a nice touch. The outdoor area was one of my favorite parts—complete with a gas grill, gas fireplace, comfy seating, and even a hammock to relax and stargaze. It was peaceful and quiet enough to truly unwind. If you’re planning to stay, definitely bring your food with you, as it’s a bit remote—but that’s part of the charm. This is the perfect spot for anyone looking to get away, relax, and recharge. Highly recommend!
The Zen Den was perfect, it was everything I could have hoped for and exactly like the pictures. The area is extremely quiet and peaceful. I was happy to see that all the mentioned amenities were present in the home. My favorite surprise was definitely how clean the bathroom was but also the height of the shower head as I am 6’6. When I am back in the area I will be staying at the Zen Den. Also everything you could hope for from fast food to restaurants to Walmart is not far down the road making it very convenient to grab a bite after a long day at Zion and Bryce!
f you’re contemplating staying at the zen den, this is your sign to just book it! I immediately felt like I was on a retreat. The land is STUNNING, and the zen den is so serene and immaculate. I felt cozy, and safe, and relaxed, and taken care of, and grounded, and bougie all at once. Farm fresh eggs as an amenity is elite!! Bed is super comfortable, hammock/private courtyard is a daydream, views are picturesque, air is crisp and clean. CheyAnne and Chris are absolutely lovely, everything about this place and stay is above and beyond. A hundred stars out of ten.
The Zen Den is such a peaceful and tranquil space — we instantly felt relaxed the moment we arrived. Everything we needed was right here, and the place was spotless and beautifully decorated. Cheyenne is an excellent host — warm, welcoming, and thoughtful in every detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay on our honeymoon. We highly recommend this adorable Airbnb to anyone looking for a calm, comfortable getaway and will book again the next time we come to Cedar City.
I’m honestly blown away by my stay here! Everything felt, smelled, and looked so clean. The space was roomy, comfortable, and the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature—and with each other. Thanks to CheyAnne’s helpful tips and quick responses, our 9th anniversary trip was a total success. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year because this stay made it so special.
Great stay for exploring the national parks! Place was done very nice, easy to access, and very well stocked. Lots of cute little extras like a s’mores kit we used at the fireplace! It was extremely clean, and the bed was so comfy I could barely wake up each day. Everything in this Airbnb was nice and luxurious, didn’t feel cheap or quickly done. We visited Zion and Bryce, had a great time!!

Hi, we’re Chris and CheyAnne -the creators of The Juniper Haven. We built this space with the intention of offering peaceful, low-tox nightly retreats where guests can slow down, reconnect, and feel restored by nature.
We love exploring Southern Utah, sharing slow mornings, and creating environments that support clarity, calm, and simplicity. As stewards of this land, we honor the Nuwuvi (Southern Paiute) people who lived in deep relationship with this area long before us. Their reverence for the land guides the care we bring to everything we create here.
Whether you’re here for adventure or stillness, we hope your time at The Juniper Haven brings you grounding, spaciousness, and a deeper breath.
Thank you for being here-
With gratitude,
Chris & CheyAnne
